I pitched a series of articles to the
Boston Globe on some development that's going on in my neighborhood--and they accepted! Now, I'm not overly excited about it because this isn't the writing I really want to be doing, but it's something. And it will probably pay for the 3 new pairs of shoes I just ordered. :)
(I really did "need" them, though, as my winter shoes and boots are worn out.)

Nice boots, Bug. Congrats on your pitch being accepted! That's great!
Woo Hoo! Congrats on sucessfully pitching your articles. That's so awesome!
Yay!! You are a Writer STAH.
And hey, for now, if it's writing that pays (some) of the bills, you're in great shape!
Thanks ladies! You're such a good support team! And TI, I'm sure you'll see plenty of those boots come January!
Bostonerin is right: you're paying some bills with your writing. Good one!
Hey Bug- I've been out of the loop a bit, but just a moment to say congratulations. I understand it's not fiction, but I'm beginning to believe more and more that writing is writing. It will all help you develop your skills. Not to mention getting your name out there in a pretty popular paper.
Thanks Repeater! Welcome back!
Congrats, Bug...lemme know when the stories run so I can read 'em.
Will do, FC. Thanks! And welcome back to the blogosphere. We've missed you!
You know you love em, don!
