I am feeling spent. I am sick of writing, sick of knitting, sick of cleaning, sick of shopping, and sick of party planning. Unfortunately, that doesn't leave me a lot I
want to do. Tomorrow I will be taking a day off from work to do more of the things I am sick of in preparation for my Christmas party this weekend. I am looking forward to the party at least.

You sound like Eyore from Winnie the Pooh!
Cheer up!
I sense a high level of burnout among the MFA group. Repeater has just announced that we should expect her to be absent for a bit, FC has been overwhelmed with work, and I have been ripping people's heads off as the countdown to departure (Friday) is sending me into a panic. I hope your day off helps you get perspective. I know that getting on the plane will help me! I have your birch information, if that helps.
Boy, can i relate to what you are feeling! ( read my post- it's the most wonderful time of the year!) -If it helps, the comment i got from spider was true, once you put on your favorite tunes and just take the first step.... you can enjoy it all. have a fun party!
Perhaps the party will pep you up!Enjoy!
I hear you, Bug. It's the best--and worst--time of year.
Hang in there. We'll party this weekend.
I agree with TI...and burnout is an understatement. Hang in there, Bug. (BTW--my plans have changed for Saturday, so you may see me after all EXCEPT I have snotty cold right now [aren't you glad I shared that?] If I'm not germy, I'll be by...otherwise, I'll be there in spirit. Hang in there, my friend!)
Enjoy the day. You have a party to plan.
