Sunday Scribbilings: Slippery

Here's a very stream of consciousness take on this week's Sunday Scribblings' prompt, Slippery.

Slippery when wet, slippery=liar, slippery road, slippery slope, slippery soap, bubbles, sex, shower floors, flip-flops in the rain, ice, winter (which I've managed to pretend never existed and will never exist again), bare tires, frogs, eels, fish, any animal you're trying to catch, happiness. Yes, slippery is quite a loaded word. I went with the slippery slope approach in my post.
Have a great weekend!

That short post describes that slippery thing very well.

Happiness may be the most slippery item on your list.

Nice take on a tricky prompt.

Slippery When Wet - Bon Jovi. I have no idea if that is what you meant but I will take it! Great list.

Some uses I hadn't thought of. Looks like you've covered all the bases now.

It's interesting to see what this word conjures up in different people.

Yes -- happiness can be most slippery.

I liked your free associations on the word ;)

~BTW, I'm enjoying your "mini-lessons" from your residency. Thanks for sharing ;)

LOL I thought of fish and almost used it. I could have been more creative if I had read this first.

Be happy! :)

It's so interesting to see how you went from lies in the first line to happiness at the end. Our brains work in mysterious and often non-linear ways...fun to read. :)

I probably should have read your post for ideas before writing mine. Mine was slippery as in "gets away with things."

i was thinking how slippery my cat gets when she has to go in her carrier to go to the vet. and, indeed, happiness gets pretty slippery, too.
