Though I lament the end of summer as much as the next New Englander, September sure does mean the beginning of the lit scene here in Boston.

I do too. The weather's awesome, and I kinda like the OK that the chill gives you to hibernate a little more... Plus, it always reminds me of the time when B and I first started dated, and got married. Aww.
thanks for your list of literary events...i get out of touch with that world quite easily, and forget on a daily basis that i slogged through three years and a creative thesis myself oh so many years ago.
