Maeve Binchy is one of my favorite authors and a couple of her books are written from different character's points of view. There is one in particular about a group of people who ride a bus from a small town to Dublin. Also, I think Amy Tan's latest novel, "Saving Fish From Drowning" also shifts POV between the characters. She's also one of my favorites. I think she also did this with "Secret Sister". Good luck on this!Kim G.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02580039996408082406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30540321.post-1155257033720415922006-08-10T20:43:00.000-04:002006-08-10T20:43:00.000-04:00Thanks Erin! It might've been timing--I started it right before our residency and felt a lot of pressure with all the other stuff we had to read. And I'll def check out those others too. We're going to Maine for a week in August and I'm looking forward to reading a lot!Writer Bughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18332064105213167179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30540321.post-1155160442691771942006-08-09T17:54:00.000-04:002006-08-09T17:54:00.000-04:00Hi Bug. Some don't like it, but I was gripped. Andrea Levy's _A Small Island_ is great. From a craft perspective, it's interesting because most of it is first person narrative, but she has managed to master several different voices and points of view. TIAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
